Tips for the Perfect Gorgonzola & Pear Salad
- Now, this recipe does call for gorgonzola, but that doesn't mean you'll be able to find it in your grocery store. If you're looking for a similar flavour I recommend trying blue cheese!
- Not all pears are the same. I recommend looking for a pear that's on the riper side, so it will add that touch of sweetness to your salad!
- You'll notice many of the ingredients in this recipe are interchangable! I chose to go with pistachios, but you can easily swap for walnuts and it will be equally as delicious!

Gorgonzola & Pear Salad with Prosciutto
Ingredients
- 1 Pear
- 8 slices Prosciutto
- 5 cups Arugula
- 1/3 cup Pistachios
- 1/2 cup Gorganzola
Dressing
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
- pinch Salt & Pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl mix together your ingredients for your dressing and set aside.
- Slice your pear into thin slices, roughly chop your pistachios, and rip your prosciutto into smaller pieces.
- Add your salad ingredients to a bowl, and top with your dressing.
- Mix & Enjoy!
