When you think of Thanksgiving, obviously, we all know it’s about the turkey. However, we both know the next question is how many side dishes are we going to make, and what are they even going to be.
Carrots are always a safe bet to get even your pickiest eater to have some vegetables on their thanksgiving plate. So, queue my easy honey roasted carrot recipe done in the oven!
The main flavours of this recipe are honey & garlic. Your entire house is going to smell divine as these are cooking in the oven. I added parsley, olive oil, salt & pepper as additional spices to make sure this recipe tasted as good as possible.
When it comes to baking carrots, the biggest concern is that your carrots aren’t all going to be the same size. If this is the case, don’t be afraid to slice them up to make sure they are. This will ensure even cooking and no one biting into a raw carrot (no thanks, ma’am).
How to Oven Roast Carrots
Well, as you saw in the tutorial above & the instructions, it’s insanely easy. You don’t actually have to peel the carrots for this recipe since I just did it for aesthetic. You also can cut off the ends of your carrots, again completely up to personal preference.
After that, the only real step is mincing your garlic and making sure all your carrots fit on your baking tray. MAKE SURE you don’t overlap your carrots, as that is a surefire way to have unevenly cooked carrots.

Honey Garlic Glazed Carrots
- 1 Bag Carrots Any Kind
- 2 TBSP Carrots
- 2 Garlic Cloves Minced
- 1 TBSP Parsley
- 1 ½ TBSP Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- ¼ TSP Salt
- ¼ TSP Pepper
- Preset your oven to 400!!
- Begin by peeling your carrots. If you really don't want to, then don't.
- In a large bowl combine all your ingredients and stir until completely coated.
- Move your carrots to a baking dish & cook for 40 minutes or until cooked through.
- Plate, Serve & Enjoy!
