To make parmesan asparagus, all you need is a baking pan and an oven. Throw everything but the cheese on your baking pan, give it a good mix, then add your cheese.

Can I Make Parmesan Asparagus in the Air Fryer?

My answer to this is maybe. You can cook your asparagus in the air fryer, but things get tricky when you add the cheese.

 

If you want to ensure all that cheesy goodness stays on your asparagus, I suggest getting some air fryer liners to keep everything in one place, instead of having melted cheese stuff to the bottom of your air fryer.

Cheese Alternatives

Don’t have parmesan? That’s okay! Some of the other options you can do include romano cheese or any sort of strong cheese like old cheddar.

 

Using a mild cheese won’t give the same effect as strong cheese, leaving you with a more dull recipe (we don’t want that).

Ingredients
  

  • 1 bushel asparagus
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup shredded parmesan

Instructions
 

  • Begin by preheating your oven to 400
  • Cut off the ends of your asparagus & add to a baking dish
  • drizzle olive oil, garlic & salt over top and mix together
  • Finish with parmesan cheese & bake for 20 minutes.
