Let’s Talk Substitutions

For substitutions for your Greek snack plate let’s start with the dipping sauce. I recommend swapping out hummus instead of tzatziki! Check out my 4 different hummus recipes to find your new fave! For your veggies, you can switch up whatever is your favourite. Broccoli, carrots, and cherry tomatoes are just a few that you can find at the grocery store! This isn’t really a substitution but I highly recommend getting the real Greek feta! It has a noticeably different taste you won’t be able to come back from! Lastly, if you can’t find any regular pitas- naan bread is a great alternative!

Ingredients
  

  • 5 Kalamata Olives
  • 2 tbsp Feta
  • 2 tbsp Tzatziki
  • 1/2 Pita - Naan will work too
  • 1/2 cup Cucumbers
  • 1/2 cup Red Peppers - Any colour will work.

Instructions

  • Begin by slicing your pita, cucumber and peppers.
  • Add your tzatziki to a separate dish, then add all your ingredients to a plate.
  • Enjoy!
