If you’re like me, you’re absolutely sick of winter. So to help get you through the last snowstorm, it’s time to jump to delicious spring recipes!

 
Today, we’re talking about 37 spring recipes you must try before the season is over! All these recipes are perfect for spring dinners or lunches and feature classic seasonal vegetables & fruit for a taste of freshness! In addition, most of these recipes are under 500 calories, making them perfect for your healthy eating journey!
 
What Fruits & Vegetables Are in Season?
When it comes to spring recipes, some fruits & veggies really stand out:

You’ll notice many recipes feature a mix of asparagus & peas to give you that gorgeous green colour. For example, I use these veggies in my asparagus & pea ravioli in a delicious cream sauce!

Healthy Eating in Spring for Weight Loss
 

When it comes to spring eating, I truly believe it is a lot easier than winter eating.

Aim for recipes with a good balance of fats, proteins & carbs. A great example would be Running in the Kitchen’s Gyro recipe you’ll see down below.

 
Wraps, Gyros, and Rice Wraps, are a perfect way to load up on veggies while still having delicious flavours from the protein source!
 
One of my favourite fillings is my Korean chicken recipe used for my lettuce wraps. If you love spicy, you’ll love this filling that you can use in whatever you want!
 
The key to weight loss in springtime is to pair your healthy eating with solid exercise. Since the weather is getting warmer, it’s time to take advantage of the outdoors! Go for daily walks for at least 30 minutes to help get off unwanted weight & start feeling better inside & out!
