15 Healthy Instant Pot Recipes for Clean Eating

190.4K

Looking for healthy meals but don’t have a lot of time? With the instant pot, you can quickly make delicious meals without needing to spend hours in the kitchen! Here are 15 healthy Instant Pot recipes for clean eating you’ll want to add to your weekly meal plan! All recipes take less than 1 hour to make, and most only have a cook time of 10-20 minutes.

Let’s get started!

Let's Talk Instant Pot

Okay, so maybe you’re new to the world of kitchen gadgets and aren’t sure what the instant pot is. To preface, the instant pot is just one of 100s of kitchen gadgets you can accumulate in your kitchen; this one is at least one of the more useful ones.

The instant pot brought the worlds of the crock pot and pressure into one. The idea of it was that it would cook whatever you were making really fast, cutting down the time to make something that would traditionally take hours in a slow cooker.

What Are Some Healthy Instant Pot Recipes

So we’re talking instant pot but we want to make it healthy. There are probably 1000s of dishes you can whip up in your instant pot, but some of the healthier options are:

  1. Soups
  2. Stews
  3. Stir Fries
  4. Chillies
  5. Curries
  6. Stuffed Veggies or Meat
  7. Fish
  8. Oatmeal

When it comes to a healthy meal, it really just comes down to the ingredients and how it’s prepared. The instant pot doesn’t require a lot of oil to cook with, which will leave your dishes with less grease and more goodness.

Okay, But Is It Healthier?

So you may be asking yourself now, is cooking in an instant pot any healthier than the oven or stovetop? Here’s my opinion on this: your dishes are only going to be as healthy as the ingredients you’re using & the quality in which you’re using them.

If a recipe calls for a pound of butter, then maybe it isn’t the healthiest option on the market. Recipes can always be altered to be healthier without sacrificing flavour. I’m a firm believer in not cutting things out of your diet completely but rather learning to enjoy them in moderation. Lucky for you, I do the heavy lifting for you and find healthy recipes for you 😉.
